About
We started Cheval Noir to give private collections the kind of care institutions give their own holdings. A significant car is too often left in no one's real charge, especially once its owner is busy and the people around it are casual about the work.
The ethos
We believe a collection is a record, not an inventory. The cars in our care were chosen by people with discernment, and our job is to keep that record intact. We protect it not just from decay, but from carelessness. We work for a small number of clients so that no car is ever treated as one of many.
The firm is deliberately quiet. We do not advertise the collections we hold, the transactions we conduct, or the names we work for.
Who we serve
Our clients are private collectors in Atlanta and beyond who hold cars of genuine significance and value their time and their privacy in equal measure. The relationship is by introduction, and it is meant to last.
