Accreditation

What Gtechniq Accredited means for your car

  • Trained on the product

Accreditation comes with Gtechniq training on how its coatings are prepared for, applied and cured. A coating is only as good as the paint it bonds to and the conditions it cures in, and that is what the training covers.

  • Access to professional coatings

Gtechniq keeps some of its coatings for accredited installers only. Crystal Serum Ultra is the best known: it is not sold to the public, so a shop that is not accredited cannot apply it.

  • Warranty on the manufacturer's terms

Gtechniq's warranty is Gtechniq's. Terms differ by product and can include registration and maintenance requirements. We go through them for your coating before you book, rather than paraphrasing them on a website.

  • Not the only brand we can use

Our coating packages are Gtechniq, but we are also Koch Chemie and Gyeon certified. If a car calls for something other than EXO or CSL, we can specify it against the car and how long you plan to keep it.

Questions

Gtechniq questions

Yes. Cheval Noir Motorsports is Gtechniq Accredited, and also Koch Chemie and Gyeon certified. You are welcome to confirm our accreditation with Gtechniq directly.

Two, one per package tier. The 18-month coating is Gtechniq EXO and the 5-year coating is Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL). Gloss & Protect uses EXO, Signature uses CSL, and Full Correction + Ceramic takes either one over a 1-step, 2-step or full correction.

Crystal Serum Ultra is sold only to accredited installers, which we are. Whether it is the right coating for your car depends on the paint and how long you will keep it, and that is decided at inspection.

Our ceramic coating packages start at $1,100 and always include paint preparation: Gloss & Protect $1,100, Signature $1,299, Full Correction + Ceramic from $1,300. Every package is laid out on our ceramic coating page.

It carries Gtechniq’s warranty, on Gtechniq’s terms. Those terms vary between products and can require registration and maintenance, so we name the terms for your specific coating before you book.

Not automatically. Gtechniq, Koch Chemie and Gyeon all make professional coatings, and we are trained on all three. The preparation underneath matters more to the result than the label on the bottle, which is why every package starts with a polish or correction.
